Have you ever thought about tracing your family tree but aren’t sure where to start? Or perhaps you’re wondering how The Story can help you on your family history journey?
Join us for an introductory workshop in our purpose-built learning studio exploring two key sources for family history research: the census and parish registers. Discover how to access these valuable resources, understand the information they contain, and try searching for yourself in a friendly and supportive environment. The workshop will focus on researching your County Durham ancestors but will also explain how these resources can be used to trace your ancestors around the country.
No previous experience is necessary.
