The Book Bus is coming to The Story!

Exploring our collections? Visiting the café? Or perhaps registering a new baby? (Congratulations!) Why not register your baby – or the rest of the family – for a County Durham library card at the same time.

While at The Story you can hop on-board the Book Bus and speak to our friendly library staff about the range of library services on offer. With Durham County Library membership you can:

Join for free.
Receive automatic membership to all 39 County Durham public libraries.
Borrow up to 12 books at a time for free.
Receive information on free toddler rhyme times and other events and activities, for children AND adults, in our libraries.
Receive information on online offers, including Borrowbox membership and free access to thousands of eNewspapers, eMagazines, eBooks and eAudios.
