Allied Victory Medal 1914-19

A circular medal, obverse shows winged figure of Victory. Reverse has the inscription: ‘THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILISATION 1914-1919’ surrounded by a laurel wreath. Edge is inscribed: ‘CAPT. F. A. L. GIBBON.’ (Impressed Capitals). Ribbon is double rainbow, indigo to red to indigo.
