India General Service Medal 1854-95

A circular medal, obverse shows left-facing bust of Queen Victoria. Reverse shows Victory crowning a semi-nude seated warrior. Edge inscription: ‘D. EVANS, 2ND BOMBAY EUR. L.I.’ (Impressed capitals). Has 1 medal clasp: ‘PERSIA’. Ribbon is crimson with two dark blue stripes of equal width.
