10 November 1702 (1) John Richardson, the elder, of Framwellgate, city of Durham, gent. and Margery his wife; and John Richardson, the younger, of the same place, gent., and Elizabeth, his wife (2) Simon Peacock of Burnehall, gent., and John Martyne of New Elvett, city of Durham, gent. Settlement on the marriage between John Richardson, the younger, and Elizabeth, his wife, being a release (lease missing) by (1) to (2) of messuages and land formerly called Catten Fields, now High and Low Catterick Houses, otherwise Cater Houses, in the parish of St. Oswald, city of Durham; of a copyhold messuage called Glake Hall in the manor of Chester-le-Street; to the use of John Richardson, the younger, for life, then to Elizabeth, his wife, for life, then to their heirs.
