Charles Gore Earl of Erroll Agreement for (1) and (2) to construct a new bridge over the River Wear and a public road from Chester-le-Street to Lumley Colliery (2nd pit) over Lumley Castle Estate, of which (4) is tenant for life under a settlement of which (6) are trustees, and subject to a mortgage with (5); (3) will pay (6) £4063 15s. in compensation for loss of tolls from the ferry and private footbridge upon completion of the road.
