2 March 1772 Copy will of George Lisle of Carville,Northumberland, Esq., as follows: To Robert Lisle, his brother, all freehold messuages etc. at Murton for life, chargeable with an annuity of £200 to Rev. Wilfred Lawson for life, thereafter to William Grieve of Berwick upon Tweed, cousin for ever; to Robert Lisle, all freehold estate in Northumberland with leasehold estate at Todburn and Todstead, Northumberland; to Wilfred Lawson, a leasehold mansion house at Carville with all household effects; several annuities and legacies to family and friends; George Colpitts, Ralph Lodge and Thomas Davidson are joint executors – From: Brancepeth Estate
