D 28 Latin. 11 November 1312. Anno Doimini millesimo ccc duodecimo ad festum Sancti Martini in hyeme. Deed whereby Peter de Kellawe demises to farm to Thomas cocus de Corneford a messuage and 9.5 acres of land, an acre de leyes near Thynforde in Corneforde with all appurtenances, saving to Peter his meadow in the same vill. To have to Thomas, heirs and assigns for 17 years, paying Peter etc., 30s. yearly, and 12 hens. Thomas shall keep tenement and land in as good state as he found them, and shall enclose the meadow of Peter near Thynforde when necessary. Thomas finds sureties viz: William de Seggefeld, Walter garcionem of Peter, and Adam de Schutlington. Warrant clause. Witnesses: Johanne filio Petri de Maynesford, Thoma de Maynesford, Willo. Kynge manente in Corneford, Johanne preposito manente in eadem, et Waltero filio Willelmi manente in eadem. Two seals.
