The register office

Our couple and two witnesses ceremonies take place on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. It is a simple legal wedding lasting approximately 10 minutes involving just yourselves and two witnesses. No other guests are permitted to attend – not even a photographer (unless acting in the capacity of one of your witnesses). Both witnesses should be over the age of 16 and able to speak or understand English.

As it is a simple ceremony, there isn’t the opportunity to select your ceremony script nor have readings, music or personal vows as part of the occasion, though the exchanging of rings is permitted.

The fee of £68.50 includes the attendance of two registrars and one copy of the marriage or civil partnership certificate.
